(More customer reviews)I've had it for almost a week now and it hasn't died on me yet. When compared to the original NES though, it doesn't match in quality. The color is a little off and the music is slightly different from what you would hear on the original NES. The system is still playable and it won't take you 10 minutes to start a game (if your games are clean).
I also tested out Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II on the system and the game suffers from this strange glitch. When I jump, I will sometimes disappear and then reappear somewhere else on screen. It doesn't happen all the time, but it's very annoying.
Nice little system and for $20, it's worth it. Especially if your original NES is giving you nothing but a blinking screen.
