(More customer reviews)The Comedian's Guns and Dog Tag mock-prop display is a neat piece of memorabilia from the movie - if you're really into Watchmen (as i am), you might want this for your collection - i'm hanging mine in my screening room. The case is pretty sturdy (feels like wood) and relatively heavy, with a plexi-type clear front. The pistols look like Army 45's and have the smiley face logo on the handles. The drawback to them (for me) is that they didn't seem hugely detailed as i would've liked, PLUS they are half-casts (that is, the guns are not actually two complete guns, but rather halves as it helps them fit neatly in the case); there are also a set of Edward Blake's (the Comedian's real name) dog tags plus a presentation medallion (from Richard Nixon) to Blake, contained in the case. It looks just like the one in the movie. The whole case is decent sized (see listing for dimensions) and has two small clips on the back that are screwed in (which i hope won't weaken over time - i am putting picture wire thru them, to hang it on the wall) and there are also two very sturdy 'legs' that hinge-out if you want to put this on your credenza (which might be a better option). Overall, a bit pricey but limited to 1000 pieces; i got a good deal on mine so i don't regret what i paid.
