(More customer reviews)If you were a kid in the 40's or 50's and this item was in the store window, you would not question the authentication or the original concept of your idea of Superman! Classic! This item is superb in craftsmanship! Lets start with the placing of this statue on to it's base, be careful of the pegs on the bottom of the feet, they can and will scratch the base. Clark Kent becomes Superman in this Forever caught in the act of the ridding of his suite, as he responds to the cry for help! Every angle of this fine sculpture, is as real and life like as you would imagine. Even his bifocals have the glass intact so as to see the arm behind it. The logo seems quite big on the chest, but it works the effect of his changing into Superman. Detail in the ripple effect on the shirt is very well done. The shoes have a light gloss, Suite has a light dulling effect and the hair has a layered look to it. If you admire art? This is one for the collection!
