(More customer reviews)This game unpacks and sets up very quickly, and the quality of cards, tiles, and miniatures is incredible. Unlike many similar games, the miniatures come already painted. I have to disagree with the reviewer who said that the two matching pairs of characters have no distinguishing features... it's true that the miniatures themselves are the same, but they are painted such that one of each pair clearly has blond hair and the other has brown hair. The character cards are similarly differentiated.
The first time my husband and I played this game, it took us less than two hours from set up to play to clean up. Compared to other dungeon-crawl, miniature-type games, that's *fast*. We had tons of fun exploring different character and card abilities. The game comes with numerous scenarios to extend playability, but the first one is a good learning exercise. We will play the first scenario several more times to make sure we have the rules down pat, then we'll tackle the more complex ones. I highly recommend this game for those who enjoy Fantasy Flights' Descent (TM) but want a shorter game.
