(More customer reviews)First, I'm 33. I think this might be a kids toy, so take this review with a grain of salt. I just wanted to be able to play my ipod without the headphones and saw this as a cute, entertaining way to jam out in my kitchen. I think its adorable and lots of fun. I'm a little annoyed about the dog having "moods" which you have to satisfy by "feeding it" music. Sigh. That's probably fun for kids. I'm not sure how durable this is, it feels somewhat breakable to me. I'm very gentle with it, and maybe unnecessarily. The light show is excellent. Somehow the idog recognizes the beat and sync's up the flashing colored lights.
Love the stereo, love the tapping foot and rocking head. A fun way to listen to your tunes instead of a boring old plug-in speaker system.

The speaker system isn't especially powerful, but you can use his volume-control tail to "amp" it up a little.
