(More customer reviews)We just got this for our son and he immediately complained that he couldn't see out of the helmet. We thought that was odd, but sure enough, the area for the eyes is not smoked plastic, or even dark plastic, it's SPRAY PAINTED plastic. In a WELL lit room, staring directly at a lamp, I could barely make out the image - it was dark AND fuzzy! At night it would have been VERY DANGEROUS!
My husband had to carefully cut away all the dark plastic near the eyes, then file it down (because, of course, it resulted in sharp bits) before we felt ok with it.
Too bad, too, because the rest of the costume is very well made and more than just a cheap bit of fabric.
