(More customer reviews)This is a very small, but cute and sturdy terra cotta cat shaped bank. It's well made and heavy weight, which makes it less likely to break easily. My 8 year old loved receiving this as a gift, and it was one of the first items she wanted to use on Christmas. She spent about an hour carefully painting it, it dried fairly quickly and is proudly displayed on her shelf.
It came with a small paintbrush, and the typical tiny attached tubs of acrylic paint that most paint your own sets come with. Hard to open, easy to spill...but exactly what you expect with paint. The bank won't hold much in the way of coins, but it is adorable and it's a great, fun craft for kids...and even can function to hold/hide loose change or the weeks allowance. My daughter wants me to add that the cork in the bottom is easy to take out, and the decent sized hole makes it easy to remove your stashed coins. She also likes the fact that when you drop coins in they make a very quiet clinking sound, instead of being loud like many piggy banks. We're very pleased!
