There are a number of actual differences in the puzzle vs. cover (bug on toadstool on cover, not in puzzle, etc), and the puzzle pieces are much less crisp than the cover. I expected higher quality from Ravensburger, given other puzzles we have, and wouldn't have purchased this one had I known about the fuzziness of the puzzle pieces. Having said all that, my 4-year-old still enjoys the puzzle, so I'm giving it 2 stars.
