(More customer reviews)This is a good game of strategy for two; the fact that it teaches some basic physical principles is a bonus. Our kids (6 and 8) are captivated by their attempts to remove pieces slowly without letting the spring-bar snap forward. Time after time, they have learned the consequences of being too rash or hasty in their movements or thinking. Unlike similar games like pick-up-sticks, there is no hiding a poorly chosen move as the pieces will fly when you try to move the wrong piece.
The only drawback is that the tension can be so strong, that the slightest movement may cause the bar to move forward. But, there is learning in this result as the results of any touch of the pieces may not always be what you expect.
