They are relatively expensive toys, but the sets are fun for both children and adults and are worth it since they provide many hours of creative fun. My gripe with this set is the price point for what you get. Ninjago, the newest Lego theme is not in line with the other themed sets. Some, such as Lego Star Wars sets are more expensive than the other themes. Lego went too far with Ninjago. Garmadon's Dark Fortress is a set that contains a little over 500 pieces, yet it is priced similar to sets with double that amount. This set measures approximately 10" x 6" x 3" when built and could basically fit in a small shoe box. This is the highest price per piece ratio I have ever seen in a Lego set and Lego should be ashamed of themselves for this particular set. Kids love this stuff including the marketing blitz that Lego has created to sell this new theme, but parents should be aware of a company that seems intent on holding you upside down and shaking every last nickel out of your pocket for very little in return. Lego, you failed me on this one.
