We had to cast another mummy so my other little girl could make one too..she won't have a sarcophagus at the end but she will have her own mummy man. Really other than having only one sarcophagus this project could be made over and over with a little 1.99 container of plaster of paris and buck worth of linen or coffee stained cotton. We had a lot of fun with this project and I recommend it to any kid into mummies.

Our Amazing Mummies Kit. Kids can learn all about mummies while creating their own from the inside out. With this project children cast, wrap, paint, and display their plaster mummy in its own coffin and sarcophagus. Finished mummy measures approximately 7-1/2" x 2x1in. This kit contains: (1) 2-piece sarcophagus, 1 paint guide, 1 instruction manual, 2 bags of plaster, (1) 2-piece mummy mold, (1) 2-piece mummy coffin, 1 mummy mask, five tubs of paint in assorted colors, 1 paintbrush, 1 muslin, eight rubber bands, and seven craft sticks. Conforms to ASTM D 4236. Recommended for ages 8 and up. WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD: Small parts. Not for children under 3 years.
