(More customer reviews)For the price, I was pleasantly surprised with the educational value of this kit. I purchased it mainly to use the hands-on DNA helix in a Forensic Science class. It does a great job of showing DNA and replication. We completed most of the experiments in the kit with easily-available household items. The kit did offer two other optioins to the denatured alcohol mentioned by another reviewer. We used regular rubbing alcohol for that experiment and it worked fine. The included booklet does a nice job of overviewing the subject with pictures illustrating concepts.
