The armor on iron man looks almost metallic and gives off a nice silhouette of red/purplish lining in some angles. This works well with the base giving the illusion of fiery start of flight. Thus, the reddish reflection on the armor makes it seem like it came from the fiery blast beneath his feet and perhaps surrounding. Truly a nice touch.
While Iron Man is stable when his feet is planted firmly into the slot in the fiery blast, I feel he can still very easily be knocked off the base if someone were to bump into him accidentally. So, placing it in display away from passers-by is ideal. See but not touch :).
This statue really gives off a nice classy tone with the black-ish armor instead of his usual red and yellow which may be too bright in some display themes.
The detail in Iron Man armor himself is very intricate and fine. No matter what angle you look at, Iron Man gives an aura of magnamity or greatness to himself.
Truly a fine and well sculpted statue. Highly recommended
