(More customer reviews)I came upon this game in a cupboard at a school I was working at as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). I had no idea how much I would love it. There are many great reasons to love this game: 1) It is non-threatening to reluctant readers, if they don't know how to read a word they just silently hold the card up for the adult to read to them. 2) You can make your own card with your own vocabulary words! The colors they use for the cards are similar to school card stock. 3) Kids love the element of chance involving the spinner. 4) Kids will discover the need for a subject and verb in a sentence in a non-boring way, and 5) It teaches the meanings of words used in the context of a sentence. I was so sad when this item was discontinued. I certainly hope that this listing on Amazon is for real because I want to stock up because I use this game for many purposes (assessment vocabulary, social groups, speech articulation practice (made my own /r/ phrase cards). I'm enthusiastic because I've had such great results in student improvement and student participation from this game.
