detail as well as major articulation. With 32 points of articulation,
and a black stand on which you can make a variety of battle postures,
its hard to get bored with this toy.
In addition to the extreme poses it can assume, Gaiking comes with
swords and a power ball (sorry, they have official names but I'm
feeling lazy).
These figures are made of plastic and typically sell
on ebay anywhere from .99 cents to close to $60 (yes, there is that wide
of a discepancy - buyer beware). The typical price for this figure is
between $15 and $25 (don't pay more). Beyond this, the next step up is
to go die-cast (chogokin) and for that you will pony up some more money,
but I say pick up one of these either way, it will rock your collection.
Whenever I review a model, figure or toy, I give it decent educational
value because if you happento be into art or mechas, you can use these
as 3-d model subjects and for that they are great.

Imported from Japan! The main character Gaiking is the super robot from the anime series Gaiking: Legend of Daiku-Maryu, produced by Toei Animation. Revoltech Gaiking is nearly 6" tall, has multiple articulation points, boasts the Revoltech joint system, and comes equipped with accessories.
