(More customer reviews)I bought this for my son for Christmas. And I will be the first to admit, taking it out of the box to put it together, I had so much fun. Let's start at the beginning. The working doors that swing open with the push of a button are so cool. The ship itself will hold many characters which will stand up thanks to the holes in the feet of the characters that fit snuggly over the pegs in the floor of the ship.
Now we get to the armament. Probably the selling point of the ship. It has the obvious top cannons, one torpedo at a time. But what folds out from behind them, each side has mini missle launchers that hold four missles each. These are fired simply turn the dials on the back and one at a time the four missle launch. Soo cool. Then the front has the dual launchers one on each side. Then to make it that much neater, you can upgrade with attachable launchers that attach to the side. I found this out from reading the directions.
The ship itself is surprisingly light and is made even more convenient by a carry handle on top. This is neatly concealed and just looks like part of the ship. So to sum it up this was one buy I definately wouldnt regret. My son loves it and for you collectors it is just a neat piece of star wars history. Very Highly recommended. Thanks for reading

The Republic Gunship can blast the droid army with blistering weapons fire and transport a platoon of clone troopers into battle.
