(More customer reviews)These cards are a great tool to teach children to read. On the one side of the cards there are individual words while on the other side there are interesting sentences including the respective words from the other side. I was surprised to see plenty of words within the sentences which were not included on the word-side of the cards, but they may have been on the Level 1 cards, which we did not use.
My son (5 years old) was quickly able to read all of the sentences without error--it helps to work on 20 cards at a time and to gradually increase the number of cards used in one sitting.
