- There is some detailed painting. E.g. the tiny propellers are painted gold. The underside is painted white. Side windows painted dark gray. There is no overall base gray paint on the sub as the plastic comes in gray plastic originally.Cons:
- Window interior is empty.
- Plastic is rather brittle. One of the tiny pegs on the leg stand that connect to the sub broke off the first time I removed the sub. So handle with care. Fortunately there are 2 additional support pegs on each side of the central peg and so the stand still works.
Overall the sub looks better in the display case. Once it's taken out, it looks kind of cheap. But if you have no time to build something on your own this is probably your best bet, at least until they decide if they want to release a diecast version.
