(More customer reviews)Hasbro continue their new Legacy Collection for 2009 with wave two consisting of figures from The Empire Strikes Back. Continuing the success of last year's build-a-droid each one in this wave comes with a component to build the silver protocol droid U-3PO.
The next figure in the line is #42: Hoth Rebel Trooper. Since the relaunch there have been 3 other Hoth Troopers and a new one would've been a welcome addition to the ranks. However, this trooper is a remake of the POTF 1997 Hoth Rebel Soldier.
He has head (rotational and vertical), shoulder (rotational), elbow (rotational and vertical), forearm (rotational), torso (rotational), hips (vertical), knee (rotational and vertical) and ankle (rotational and vertical) articulation which gives him a great 21 ranges of movement.
He comes equipped with a black BlasTech DL-44 heavy blaster pistol (which fits into the holster on his right hip), a white backpack, white green lensed hat and best of all a dark grey Merr-Sonn Munitions Mark II medium repeating blaster cannon.
There is also the right arm of U-3PO as well, the remainder of which is with figures #38 - #41 and #43 in the current line.
A good trooper, a far superior model to the 1997 release and a must have for all those Echo base dioramas.
